Plan ahead this Christmas

Sometimes, getting ready for an event can be as enjoyable as the event itself. For others, it can be a little stressful especially in the lead up to Christmas. So we say, give yourself plenty of time to prepare for the festive season. And that means…making lots of lovely lists!

What are your festive plans?
From gift planning and decorating to parties and catering, plan ahead and you’ll actually be able to relax and enjoy it all. And the planning doesn’t have to be a chore either, especially when you put your Zebra Pens to work to make your lists well structured, organised, creative masterpieces!

First on your list…
Block out an hour and get started on that tricky gift list. With enough thinking and research time, it doesn’t even need to be that tricky! Picking up your Zebra Pen and planning ahead will help you budget too. And don’t forget about yourself – make a list of what you’d quite like (it’s definitely the time of year to drop a few hints).

Recipe for success
You may have already retrieved your Christmas cake recipe. Or maybe you could create a new, special recipe sheet that you keep for years to come. There’s also ‘the big shop’ to consider. How about writing a list for what you can buy ahead of time and can keep; and then a list for the groceries that need to be fresh? Plenty of highlighting and underlining to be done there – great!

Writing and wrapping
Who’s on your list? Write your Christmas cards nice and early (and beautifully), and you’ll only need second class stamps on them when you pop them in the letterbox. Check your wrapping paper (ideally recyclable) and sellotape supplies too. Top tip – if you don’t already have one, invest in a sticky tape dispenser. You’ll whizz through the wrapping!

And…relax
Of course, there will still be plenty to do when the festivities come around. But with the planning and organising all done, you’ll be able to take a break and maybe even take your favourite Zebra Pens out too!
