We ask a lot of our Zebra Pen brand ambassadors. Our team of eight are some of the most creative, positive and uplifting people we know. And they do it for the love – and we love that about them. Yes, there are some rather fabulous monthly freebies. But – unlike paid influencers – ambassadors receive no money for their work. Those Mildliners and Sarasa gel pens are the incentive!
Since 2022, our brand ambassadors have included calligraphy maestros, journalling supremos, inspirational illustrators and showstopping studygrammers. Each bringing a unique skillset and creative talent to our Zebra community.
We’re absolutely delighted that our current team of eight ambassadors have all agreed to stay on with us for another term. To celebrate the talent and time that they dedicate to Zebra, we asked them what being a brand ambassador has meant to them.
Alex: “Zebra’s encouraged me to try new things”
Working mum of three, self-confessed stationery addict and – at three years – our longest-serving brand ambassador, Alex’s bullet journalling tips never fail to inspire us. Alex began her journalling days at the tender age of nine and although not a consistent diarist throughout her teens and twenties, her bullet journals became a key part of her life eight years ago. “My pens and journals are a way to escape the chaos of family life.”
When talking about her experiences of being a Zebra Pen brand ambassador, she told us, “I’ve loved my time as an ambassador. I love the sense of community.”
“It’s grown my confidence and encouraged me to explore new avenues in my journals. A standout moment was seeing my journal artwork on the Zebra Big 30 packaging.”
“I love the sense of community within the team as we support each other, but also from the wider Zebra Pen fans.”
Amanda: “I love the chat of all the ambassadors together!”
Amanda’s our inspirational bird-loving artist – check out her gallery of beautiful birds, (and the odd mammal, fish, reptile, amphibian or invertebrate). She also has an enviably decorative aesthetic doodle style too!
Being a brand ambassador has been, “A really rewarding collaboration,” she says.
“It’s such a positive experience. I enjoy the chat of all the ambassadors together. I really enjoyed creating the How-to draw a bluetit step-by-step guide, and sharing how Zebra Mildliners can be used to draw in different ways. And it was a lovely treat to receive a Zebra mechanical pencil!”
Amber: “It’s such a creative, friendly team with a passion for stationery!”
Amber encourages us all to reach for the stars! She’s completed a Master’s degree in Physics and Space Science and is currently working as a design engineer. She’s also a BuJo supernova. Amber’s inventive style combines scrapping, calligraphy and cool colour palettes – so if you’re ever struggling to settle on a theme for your monthly spreads, ask Amber for inspo.
“I’ve been a lifelong fan – Zebra’s well known in the artistic community,” Amber says. “I love finding new ways to apply a Zebra pen to a different art style.”
“Working with Zebra drives me to produce my best work, have fun, and feel part of a community, which is why I love being an ambassador! It’s so fulfilling. I’ve learnt so much since I joined (more than two years ago) – about different art styles, the versatility of Zebra pens, and I hope I’ve inspired others to create their own masterpieces.”
Andrew: “Being a part of the team inspires and motivates my creativity to a whole new level”
A freelance calligrapher and speciality coffee barista, Andrew combines lettering and latte-art together in the ultimate blend of coffee, creativity and calligraphy.
“I love being a part of the very talented group of ambassadors and love how each ambassador is so unique in their creativity,” Andrew says.
“Right from the moment I picked up my first Mildliner Brush, I knew that I’d found the right companion for my brush calligraphy. I became instantly obsessed with everything Zebra Pen and then when they invited me to be an ambassador, it was a very easy ‘YES!’”
“Everyone is so supportive and generous. I just love the community and friendships that we form.”
Chloe: “I’ve met so many amazing artists and learnt from their creative styles.”
If you’re ever having a blue Monday – one look at Chloe’s socials should give you an instant boost! Her enthusiasm and glorious rainbow colour combos have been inspiring us for over two years now. New mum Chloe, currently on maternity leave from her job as a reception teacher (respect, Chloe!), really is a creative dynamo! Whether she’s planning, journalling, drawing or updating her trackers, Chloe’s artistic flair really is something to aspire to.
“Zebra is my favourite pen brand,“ Chloe says, “so I feel so lucky to get to showcase their amazing products, through my journalling – and unleash my own creativity!”
“Zebra will always be my go-to pen brand and I’ve loved being a part of the Zebra Pen ambassador team!”
Claire: “The brand ambassadors are all really creative, quirky, clever – lovely people who all have something different to offer.”
Thirty-something lifelong language student and English teacher, Claire, “loves anything and everything creative!” She’s been onboard since autumn last year. Claire’s a powerful advocate of mental health and self-care, which fits perfectly with our own belief that being creative is vital for your own wellbeing.
“I’ve been using Zebra pens since I was at school (and that was a long time ago!)” Claire says.
“I really love the Zebra community. I’ve learned new things about calligraphy and journalling and get to admire other ambassadors’ note taking skills! “
“I never realised how interested people were in what pens other people used until I created a studygram. I always get asked what stationery I use, so being able to share my love of Zebra pens is great.”
Lois: “It brings me joy to see how these pens make others feel too!”
Our ambassador Lois, might just be the original inspiration behind Superwoman! A Psychology graduate, working mum Lois is employed in local government, but she also owns her own successful sticker and stationery business.
“Being a Zebra Pen ambassador feels like finding my creative home!” she says. “Zebra pens have unlocked a whole new level of expression for me.”
“It’s like Zebra understands my style and lets me just ‘be’. I love that I can journal or create art by combining ranges such as Mildliners, Sarasa Clip pens and Doodler’z.“
“It makes my heart happy when family, friends, colleagues and social media followers start using Zebra pens, because they always reach out to tell me how impressed they are. My friend Steve recently told me he felt like he was writing with butter, it was that smooth.”
Peach: “It’s a great way to connect with other creators!”
Our youngest brand ambassador, Peach, is just completing her first year of A-Levels, so the heat is on. But nothing seems to faze her! She sets herself revision challenges; provides study tips and words of encouragement to others. A talented ballerina, violinist and linguist – she’s learning Japanese just for fun!
“I have absolutely loved my time on the ambassador programme,” Peach says, “and I am so excited to be continuing!”
“As an ambassador I can share my love of stationery, especially Zebra pens with so many people. The colours are so aesthetically pleasing – and perfect for my notes.”
“And I’ve also loved how friendly and supportive the ambassador team is with one another. “
Spreading the love – the power of community
Feeling part of a community is a key part of our mental wellbeing and feeling good about ourselves. And we’re so lucky to have these eight creative powerhouses to bring our Zebra community together. We can’t thank them enough for their inspiration, positivity and commitment, every single day.

People often ask how we find our amazing brand ambassadors, and we’re always on the lookout for creative originals to join us. Although we’re not actively recruiting right now, we will be later in the year. We do love to engage with emerging talent and established creatives alike, so please do tag us if you’ve created something you’re proud of, using Zebra pens. You could be the next brand ambassador.
